Tips for Managing Anxiety & Stress

We know that this can be a particularly stressful time for people. While there are plenty of resources on steps to maintain your physical health during this time, we thought it would be nice to provide some resources for keeping you in your best spirits.

The Centers for Disease Control suggests these 4 things to boost your self-care:

• Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media.

• Take care of your body. Take deep breaths, stretch, or meditate. Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals, exercise regularly, get plenty of sleep, and avoid alcohol and drugs.

• Make time to unwind. Try to do some other activities you enjoy.

• Connect with others. Talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling.
