PLAC Fee for 2017 Remains the Same

Friday, December 9, 2016

The Indiana Library & Historical Board (ILHB) has determined that the Public Library Access Card fee for 2017 will remain $65.

Anyone who has a valid Indiana public library card and wants to use a library located outside their home library’s tax district must purchase a Public Library Access Card (PLAC) to borrow materials. Each card is valid for 12 months from the time the card is purchased.

If you’d like to borrow materials from the Bedford Public Library, but live outside of Lawrence County or south of White River, ask the staff at our check out desk if a PLAC card is right for your needs. If you have already purchased a PLAC card for 2016, ask our staff to add your e-mail address to your account so that you can receive a courtesy reminder 30 days before your card will expire.
