Adventurers of all ages can immerse themselves in an array of thrilling programs and participate in exciting reading challenges--all while embracing the beauty of nature and discovering the wonders around us. The adventure begins June 1st...
Get ready for a summer of reading fun with the 2024 Summer Discovery Reading Challenge! Starting June 1st, kids of all ages can pick up their reading challenge cards on the Children & Teen floor. Every week for eight weeks, participants can choose between two fantastic options:
- For those who love to dive into books, we have the Retro Reading Bubble Challenge. Fill in a reading bubble for every 10 minutes you read, and once all the bubbles are filled, turn in your card for a prize!
- If you prefer reading and doing fun adventure activities, then the Adventure Bingo Challenge is perfect for you! Complete any of the activities on the bingo board to create a bingo. Once you have four in a row, turn in your card for a prize!
Return the completed card to us to receive your prize and the next challenge card. Don't worry if you miss a week; you can go at your own pace. There will be a new card each week, but you can't get a new one until you complete the previous challenge. Remember, you have until August 10th to turn in your completed cards.
